Went So Quick

Final Class, 1 month went so quick now its up to me to take this new knowledge i have learned and master it at home.

So I recently signed up for a cake decorating class at michaels. I have always had this hidden passion to be able to make beautiful birthday cakes and maybe one day wedding cakes, Ive done little things here and there but i knew i needed some professional guidance and direction. The first night was just basics; how to make frosting, different thickness, how to level a cake and of course how to frost a cake like a pro. The second night was more hands on for us. we had a lot of practice time making stars which i still need to practice on. stars sound easy, but to get all my stars to match in size was a hard task. then we worked on figure piping, which then the teacher wanted us to draw a cupcake. so here it is. it doesnt look very good to me, but for a first timer at least people can recognize its a cupcake.

JuliAnne's 1st birthday

So the day is here my baby is 1. Still not walking or standing alone, but quite a talker she is. she loves to say mama, dad, dog, off, and adam. We still are not sure on her eye color some days they look blue and other days they look brown one day they might make up their mind. She has 5 teeth and seems to always be cutting a new one. This year has gone fast sometimes i want her to walk and other days i tell myself not to push she will do it when she is ready. Happy Birthday JuliAnne we Love you.

I thought i would post some pics for you Ash. Its been so much fun being in arizona again with family and close friends. Jonathon will be home in less then two weeks and off to arkansas we go. I will miss everyone so much. Love you guys and hope to keep in contact with everyone. I have notice something while i have been here about best friends. Best friends could go days, months, or even years without seeing eachother and when they hang out its like they never were apart. I love it. Im grateful to have such wonderful life long friends in my life.

Its been such nice weather lately so my sister and I decided to take everyone swimming it was a lot of fun. The water was freezing to me but Julianne and jacob didn't seem to care they loved it . It was hard to get them out to leave after 2 hours. my little fish kids. I wish we had a pool but then again i have enough maintenance to do.

I Finally Did It!

I know I have been talking about it for a while now about cutting my hair and today when I went in. I decided to be daring and I told my Seth my hair person to chop it off. it feels so weird it is going to take time getting used to. I love it though I feel refreshed, I don't know why getting my hair cut gives me a boost of energy, but it does.

I know these next couple months will be tough, but we are so blessed to be a eternal family. Stay strong, your family loves you and always will. I pray for you to come back to us safe. Happy Birthday Jacob

It took me the second time around to get this tigger cake to turn out right, but it turned out amazing. thankyou stephanie for frosting it for me.
Jacob had his 3 favorite things for his birthday. Turkey sandwiches with cheese, sugar and more sugar.

Its crazy how fast our children grow up, I still look at newborn pictures of jacob and it just seems like the other day he was learning to crawl. I can't believe he goes to school next year. I wanted to tell every one that help me thank you. A wise woman once told me it takes an entire ward to raise a child. I truly believe her, this ward we're in feels like a second family to us. Thank you again everyone, for all your help.

Wow it's been almost two months since I last wrote. Time really does fly by. I have finally completed this fall semester. It was a hard and crazy 4 months. I have now realized that I can no longer be a full time student. I just can't quit, even if it takes me years, just keep going and ill get there someday. The kids are doing great, we had our first Thanksgiving in our home and it was a lot of fun. The left overs are also great. We let Jacob use a champagne glass and he was so excited about it. It was the only glass he would drink from for days. Happy Holidays.

4 months today

Four Months has gone by so quick, JuliAnne is now laughing, rolling over, holding her head up, making funny noises and reaching for her toys and mommy's hair. I wish we were closer to family, so you guys could enjoy our precious children growing up. :( hopefully this video will make you guys feel closer to us and part of these wonderful memories.

Trick Or Treat!

Halloween was so much fun this year. We had so many First timers, there was madison who is 4 weeks, JuliAnne 4Months, Shay 7 Months, and Olivia 11Months. Lots of babies! Jacob wasn't to intersted this year in carving pumpkins, but Trick or treating he was a pro this year. Its crazy that this was jacobs 3rd Halloween. where did the time go? Jacob was running from house to house, he was always 1 to 2 houses ahead of the group. Last year he had to look at every piece some one gave him before he proceeded, but not this year he knew there was more candy to get at the next door. The only thing we need to work on is the door bell ringing. He would keep pushing the button until somone came to the door. Jacob was of course Tigger his new favorite thing in the world and he loves to bounce, he did that for a while to, bounce from door to door. Our little JuliAnne was a Ballerina, Jonathon dressed up as a cowboy and i was a devil. I Hope all of you had a wonderful safe Halloween.

The dogs enjoyed their time in the house during the storm. I was even brave enough to let them sleep in my house too.

I think I'm going to hold off on buying a trampoline.

Who's sick of the rain, say I!

It feels like it has been raining forever. I finally let my dogs sleep inside last night, i felt so bad for them. My neighbors trampoline will not see another storm. I've lost count of how many times that expensive toy has flown over the fence. But it is finally bent in half. Early this morning i had a doctors appointment. It usually takes me about 40 min to get there, but today it was an hour and a half of dead stop traffic because of the flooding. Finally i was getting ready to get off the freeway, "yea I'm almost there" And then bam my head hits the steering wheel. Somebody ran into my new beautiful SUV. I looked out the rear view mirror and their car looked so bad, i wish i would of took a picture of it. I first call my husband, because its a weakness of mine to let people go. which i probably would of done this time too, if he didn't show up. Thank you Heavenly Father that no one was injured. My vehicle had a little crack in the bumper that i didn't even notice til Jonathon came and some damage to the hitch. I blame the rain. Now me and this lady are standing outside of our vehicles in the pouring rain. I don't blame her, I was lucky enough to make it into town without wrecking, i could barely see the car in front of me. Rain is good, to a point. then after a week strait. i feel like praying for the man up stairs to turn it off, so my kids can go play outside. These are the times when i miss Arizona, the sun is still shining when the rain is pouring, it's still warm enough to play outside when it rains and it only lasts a couple hours, maybe. I finally found my trash can yea, it was across the highway three houses down. sorry for walking in your front yard, I just need my trash can, thank you. lol. made a new friend.

I Love Halloween!

I love dressing up as a kid, now I get to dress up my kids. Circle of life! Heck I still love dressing up.

while shopping at Sams Club the other day, Jacob saw this huge Mickey Mouse and he wanted it so much. I thought it was so cool as well but i was aslo thinking what on earth would i do with this huge mickey mouse. Its bigger than his bed. So i decided to look at the price. Wow $80 thats crazy, than another thought came across my mind what if money was no object. Im not saying i want to be rich, but if money where no object where would i be living right now. I honestly don't know where My family would be. I know i am blessed for what we do have, but sometimes i would love to just do something crazy and buy a 5 ft mickey mouse. After pondering the thought Im glad Im on a budget, because when I do get to splurge I appreciate it so much more. But the thought is still pestering me, where are we suppose to raise our family. I hate that we don't have a set plan, for when we get out of the military.

I know some may think I'm silly. But im so excited, I didn't think the tummy time was paying off cause all she did was sleep. Until today when i put her down and pop the head came up. i couldn't run fast enough to get my camera, video camera, and cell phone. luckily she kept her head up long enough to get the moment documented. I am so blessed to be a stay at home mom, i would of hate to miss this moment.

I asked my friend Katie when she put her baby in the bimbo and she said 3 months. so then i decided to see if Julianne was big enough, not thinking she was. to my surprise she is. she still looks to small to be in it. ill just keep telling myself that.
of course Jacob has to do it too. they are so funny together.
